WVW Students Participate in EMPOWER: The Leadership Experience presented by Geisinger

Advisor Katie Finnegan, along with Dr. Suppon, recently accompanied nine students to EMPOWER: The Leadership Experience presented by Geisinger—northeastern Pennsylvania’s premier women’s leadership conference.

With more than 900 attendees, the event brought together inspiring voices from across the region and beyond, featuring national keynote speakers, dozens of breakout sessions, and panels focused on leadership, personal growth, and professional development.

Students participated in the EMPOWER TEEN track, gaining valuable insight into leadership while experiencing the power of women supporting and uplifting one another. The day also included opportunities to explore wellness sessions and a vibrant marketplace of local businesses.
