Wyoming Valley West Teacher Named Bright Futures Award Recipient

Wyoming Valley West High School is proud to announce that teacher Ryan Hettes has been selected to receive the Bright Futures Award, generously sponsored by Power Engineering in partnership with United Way of Wyoming Valley.

The Bright Futures Award recognizes an outstanding teacher who inspires students, supports families, and helps create pathways to brighter futures and Mr. Hettes' dedication to our students exemplifies exactly that spirit.
As part of this honor, Wyoming Valley West School District will receive $10,000, and Mr. Hettes will be recognized at the 2026 United Way Campaign Kick-Off on September 17.

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Hettes on this well-deserved recognition!
