All parents and families of State Street Elementary are invited to attend our Dr. Seuss Literacy Night on Thursday, March 6th from 6-8pm at State Street. Reading & Math Specialists along with State Street Elementary teachers will demonstrate and share skills to help families support their child’s reading development at home and in school. Family workshop topics include helping students improve their reading & writing skills, using technology to support learning, creating healthy habits and routines for the whole family, test taking tips, and so much more!
In addition, State Street will be celebrating Read Across America from Monday, March 3rd through Friday, March 7th. Parents can refer to the Read Across America Spirit Week activities that were communicated through the teachers and sent home via Remind.
