Wyoming Valley West High School ranked second place in the high school division for the Luzerne County spring 2020 competition. The winning student was Adam Cavalari. He worked under the guidance of teacher, Thomas Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham shared, “I am so impressed with the level of dedication and brilliance that my students put into the stock market simulation.” Click for more information

Students who will be 18 years of age on or before April 28, 2020 can complete a registration form with Mr. Dicton. The high school is trying to reach gold level status with the PA Department of State for the third consecutive year. If a student already registered please see Mr. Dicton to be crossed off the list.

Wyoming Valley West High School held an awards ceremony on Friday December 7th to celebrate K9 Officer, Una, who was recently awarded the first place grant through Aftermath Services. Communities across the nation voted for their local K9 law enforcement officers in hopes to win the grant and provide funding. The Larksville Police Department was awarded the first place grant of 5,000.00 to support K9 Officer Una who is positioned at the Wyoming Valley West High School full time.
