• In recognition of Bullying Prevention Month, the Highmark Foundation and its partners at the Center for Safe Schools and Windber Research Institute today launched a special web video "Understanding and Responding to Bullying: What Parents Can Do."

    This webinar will provide information about bullying, its effects, and how parents can help their children deal with bullying issues. It also includes information about the role of the school in addressing bullying and tips for how parent groups can initiate a bullying prevention partnership with educators.

  • Harassment or bullying are serious and will not be tolerated by the Wyoming Valley West School District.  This is a way to report alleged harassment or bullying that occurred on school property, at a school-sponsored activity or event off school property; on a school bus; or on the way to and/or from school, in the current school year.  If you are a student victim or friend of a student who is being harassed or bullied and wish to report an incident or alleged harassment or bullying, please email bullying@wvwsd.org.  

    Please include the names of the parties involved, the school, and any details of the incident.  The information will be sent to the respective building principal to be investigated.
